The Weather
If you are from North America, you will immediately know that you are not in North America the second you step out of the airport. The humidity is instant and it NEVER stops. Even when it is dryish by Thai standards, it is very humid. The northern part of the country can get as low as 19C but that is a rare thing. The nation as a whole averages around 27C in the summer and can average as high as 36C.
There are defined seasons in terms if precipitation however. The wet season (May to October), the cool season (November to February) and the hot season (March to May). If you are looking to travel and deal with the least amount of tourism, you got to hit up Thailand in the hot season. Remember, this is a very tropical country, so “cool season” is relative to the nation and is more like North American summers.
